Hi there, well ive been in remission from hodgkins lymphoma for 5 years now (had a stemcell transplant in 2003) today was my 6 month check up and the doctor was very pleased with me and said they would only need to see me once a year i was over the moon!..

Then they got my blood results, turns out my platelets are very low 105, theyve always been low but never this low, so now i gotta return in a months time to see if they are any lower, if so they have to check my bone marrow..why is this? what could be making them low? i have a sore throat could that be the reason? do they think i might have bone cancer?
Am i thinking the worse?
Can viamins or vegetables or anything hlp bring them up? (i dont eat green at all) i have no idea ifthats got anything to do with the blood, i just need answers please.
