    I’m pro-research, but I can’t accept large-scale engineering, because it’s not only a religious matter:
There always will be a small risk of catastrophic human mutation
So no need to motivate too much those scientists, obsessed with celebrity or money, rather than passion
    It should be limited

@dumbtrooper We don’t have enough stem cells throughout our body to keep up with the demands of a serious injury, such as loss of limb. In the case of a salamander, when they lose a tail or leg, they have many stem cells which are activated to regenerate the foot or tail to full capacity. Check out another Youtube video called Adult Stem Cells and Regeneration. It’s about 1 hour long, but worth watching if you are interested.

There are billions of embryos that will die in freezers of fertility labs. They could otherwise be used to find cures to diseases whose actual pain only the victims and their families can feel.

Stem cell research is happening in S. Korea, Iran, Singapore, China etc… Meanwhile in America, where the church and state lay seperate, Christian ideas ban an entire nation from progressing
