In August of 2006 I was struck by a truck while I was on a bicycle. My levels of injuries are L1 & L2 and a slight fractured T8. Consequently I am a complete paraplegic without movement and sensation from the waist down. In 2008 I had umbilical cord stem cells treatments. Within four months of inserting the umbilical cord stem cells into my spinal cord and with regular active assisted exercises, I started to move my legs for the first time since my accident. These cord stem cells come from a healthy baby and mother whereas it does not harm anybody. The treatment was done in Central America in a modern up-to date hospital. The treatments are ongoing, as I need to go back to get more in order to continue improving and regain my bladder and bowel functions.

Over the decades, multiple procedures have been developed to achieve a more youthful and vibrant look such as using fillers to smooth out the deep wrinkles and lines on the face. Most of these consist of temporary fillers that eventually are absorbed and wear off. With the advance of Stem Cell technology, we can now can use your own stem cells as fillers. This procedure is called Autologous Stem Cell treatment – a longterm facial rejuvenation that doesn’t involve any foreign substance that is not your own. By harvesting stem cells from your peripheral blood, the procedure restores youthful facial contour.
