For the most part they only do stem cell these days, and your medical oncologist will point you in the right direction with regard to which hospitals are performing these procedures.

The two best(?) hospitals doing the stem cell transplant are Harvard univ and a hospital in Little Rock, Ark. My daughter has mult/myeloma and is taking chemo and we hope she will get in good enough condition to have the transplant. She will have it done at KU (University of Kansas) medical center.

Sorry to hear about your mother.
Kindly get to the medical oncologist at Kidwai Cancer Institute in banglore.
I suppose she’s on VAD not VAB. Also discuss the chemotherapy options available for her as newer chemotherapies are also available.
