When it comes to any issue at all. Gays, Stemcell Research, oh and the war. Why’s Bush doing this, because he’s doing God’s will, or at least I think he’d say it if he were allowed.

da9man asked:
Scientist always try to prove god has nothing to do with life, bring in theories about evolution, the world was created from stardust, and such, man is soo great it could move mountains, it could manipulate life by giving people second chances and so forth, i could keep going, but im going straight to the question, this was probably discussed before it might of even been answered, but since i didn’t hear about it, i don’t care, my question is, ” If man is soo great to prove gods existence is merely an illusion brought on by a book, then why can man create and make everything EXCEPT gods smallest most valuable creation…the seed” im curious on some of your answers, remember:cloning, stemcell research is manipulation of life not creation, it had to come from a SEED before it could be manipulated
no point to share, just a question, my beliefs are my beliefs, i might of gave some bad interpretations, my appologies, its just a question thats all,
Timmy Ta asked:
hey all, I recently got assigned to do a project where i have to replicate a stem cell. I just have to get a ball of styrophoam and some paint and paint all of it’s organelles on there but i looked around and I cannot find a site where it says that a stemcell has a nucleus or any other type of organelle. Also i have another question, is a stem cell exactly like an animal cell? like it has a nucleus, membrane, nucleolus and such?
Michelle A asked: I am wondering why people are still touting the wonderfulness of embryonic stem cells which have not been proven to be effective at all—when we SHOULD be pouring money into Adult Stem Cell research since they are plentiful (umbilical cords and many humans available) and they have been PROVEN to be effective?
Why are people still getting caught up in this political quagmire when we could be doing real good!!!

Patrick says they have not been funded. Oh yes, they have…..there were something like 72 lines that were funded for research and produced ZERO…..
Also: Patrick, how can embryonic stem cells be ANY easier than the enormous amount of umbilical cords we dispose of daily???
stev asked:
for stemcell research, should we allow it instead of using other sources of stemcells?

Tory, Christianity is Christianity. Do you subscribe or not? If it is your belief system, do you feel the need to make excuses for it?
Prays Toward Funkytown- What sin do you say I’m guilty of?
12. Judges others indiscriminantly.
Anticore- What does Christianity have to do with the teachings of Christ? Not much apparently. I agree with you Christians, especially these Christians, do not follow the teachings of Christ. These is another reason it is so evil. Thanks for adding to the list. You’re so much smarter than I am.
13. Christianity does not follow the teachings of Christ.

xuserx2000 asked: Yahoo just posted a news article, on a new scientific process to create stem cells from a woman’s unfertilized eggs.
Does this resolve the ethical debate for stemcell funding ?
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070628/ap_on_he_me/stem_cells
This process however, would only be able to produce stem cells to be used to create tissue for the woman who donated eggs. Men would not benifit.

GoAndComeback asked:
For zombies there comes time of science-fiction.
The year humans embark a great medicine to cure deases and live longer than any decade has ever had. With great modern tech. and brains we can find something never before, stemcell research, rejuvenating cells, with biomedical military hardware. Is it possible for humans one day, to bring dead cells back to life?? Or clone dead cells? What would this mean for us, stem cell research, we were able to clone cells, back in 2006. Would you think a few decades, we would able to bring dead people to life, not literally but cloning the dead?
And what would be a worst place for zombies to infest? a hospital, morgue? school?
Is there any way that we can mutate cells? or evolve cells with stem cell research, like the scienctists cloning cells.
Will humans be responsible for their own destruction, hydro bomb, global warming, deases ect.
Is there a slight reasonable doubt that one day we would get something close to a living dead?
