PROBLEMS WITH EMBRYONIC STEM
CELLS

I heard that our government (United States) was going to legalize stemcell research again now that Bush is leaving (Thank, God!), and supposedly they need abortions to get more cells.
Does anyone know how long it is going to take to get this program to get started again? Also, how much money do you think one can make doing this? I live nearby a local university, so I guess they would be the place to go to get paid, right?
What sort of process do you have to go through to get accepted into this sort of program?
And I’m not just doing it for money – I’m also doing it for altruistic reasons. There are many people out there with all sorts of incurable ailments, and maybe my donation can help them.
But I also would love to get a job, but, unfortunately, I am living in Bush’s economy still.
Look, all of you who are saying such a program does not exist, are right – for the time being. However, once stem cell legislation passes, they will be harvesting them from somewhere – and where would that be? It will come from aborted fetuses.
And yes, I am well aware you can sell eggs and that it is quite lucrative – however, this program will definitely pay more. And if I am going to go under an invasive procedure, I will pick the one I can capitalize most on. Wouldn’t you?
Finally, I admit, there are jobs to be had. However, due to Bush’s economy and the glass ceiling, it has become quite hard for an intelligent, independent woman to find a decent paying job. All I am trying to do is make my ends meet for my current lifestyle, and I fail to see how this is somehow wrong and immoral.
